Agnieszka (Agnes) Krzeminska
Agnes has a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling from Northwestern University that she earned in 2018 and is a licensed clinical professional counselor. She also trained in India in 2018 to become a registered yoga teacher.
Through authentic and transparent collaboration, Agnes empowers the individual and promotes mental wellness through empathy and evidence-based strategies. She practices DBT-informed therapy and psychodynamic therapy using humanistic and trauma-informed lenses to tie her practice together. In addition, Agnes uses mindfulness, yoga, and art therapy to help the individual heal and discover more about themselves. She guides the individual to uncover and uproot, sometimes unconscious, issues stemming from past experiences and conditioning that inform limiting beliefs and thought patterns that are causing dysfunction/discomfort.
She sees families, parents, and individuals for outpatient psychotherapy. Agnes primarily works with teenagers and young adults, supporting them through life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, navigating neurodivergence, family conflict, identity development (including gender, sexual orientation, and cultural identity) and past/current trauma. Agnes is a BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ sensitive therapist.

Client Testimonials
“Thank you for always providing me with a safe place, I hold the words you've shared during our sessions very near and dear to my heart. You have helped me during the worst times of my life. And when nothing made sense, you guided me through the nonsense. I feel as if words don't do justice to how much you have helped me. Going back to therapy with you genuinely saved my life and I am incredibly grateful I made that decision. Now I look forward to each day and find joy in who I've blossomed into. My life is starting to come together and your words of advice/encouragement have helped me get to this point.”
“You have been so helpful and good for my son and I do appreciate all that you have done for him. I think you have made a positive impact on him and I have seen him grow in maturity and mental awareness so much and I know you have much to do with it.”
